He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. Hamnett and Hilda Hamnett. He is survived by: his wife Mae L. Hamnett; his brother Lawrence W. Hamnett; his son James; his daughter-in-law Hillary Hamnett Jr.; his daughter Patricia; his son-in-law Tony Torres; his grandchildren, Amanda (Mike), Tristan (Jaimie), Emily, James III and Katelyn; his great grandchildren, Sarena, Orlando, Avery, Hazel, Brielle and Makayla; his siblings, Fred Hamnett and Hilda Bostrom; and his friends, Michael Matty, Buddy and Chucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
