She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus G. LeGates and Bertha M. LeGates (Poutnik); and her siblings, Barbara M. Mergner and John D. LeGates. She is survived by: her siblings, W. Frank LeGates Sr. and Patricia A.; her siblings-in-law, Joseph Stuparich and Janine LeGates; and her nieces and nephews, Robert, Kathy, Karen, Billy, Donna, Marc, Tara, Michael, Jennifer, John and Mallory. She is also survived by 15 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Boyle Funeral Home (309 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:15 AM at 50 Short Hills Ave, Short Hills, NJ 07078. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
