She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Rayment and Elizabeth Rayment (Wallace); her former husband William VanNest; her son Roger VanNest; her stepson Mark G. Mitchell, Jr.; her brother Edward "Ted" Rayment; and her nephews, Mark and Douglas Rayment.
She is survived by: her husband Mark G. Mitchell, Sr.; her stepchildren, Neal A. Mitchell of Holland Township, NJ and Holly A. Hallinger (Mark) of Holland Township, NJ; her nephew John Rayment (Kristy); her great-nephews, Nicholas, Jared and Zachary; her grandchildren, Kevin, Mark, Ashley, Jessica and Kyle; her daughter-in-law Barbara Cross of Texas; her great-nephews, Andrew and Michael Rayment; her great-niece Samantha Smith; and her son Finn Smith.
