He was predeceased by: his parents, Nanikram Gidwani and Mohini Gidwani; and his brothers, Ghanshyam, Chandru, Chaturbhuj and Narayan Gidwani.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Gidwani; his daughters, Sonia Gidwani of Flemington, NJ and Sheila Begley (Eric) of Chicago, IL; his brother Mohan Gidwani of New Delhi; and his grandson Ronan.
