He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar S. Philkill, Sr. and Vera Philkill (Moore); his wife Doris Philkill (Groover); and his siblings, John L. Philkill and Jeanette Melick.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Force (Wilbur) and Luann Tange (David); his grandchildren, Kristin, Brad, Nicole and Kaitlyn; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Sarah, Carly, Emily, Isabella, Mia and Madden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alexandria First Presbyterian Church, 141 Little York-Mt. Pleasant Road, Milford, NJ 08848.
