He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hampton and Thelma Apgar (Tucker); and his siblings, Howard Hampton and Mary Brunt. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hampton; his children, Bret Hampton (Cindy) of Puyallup, WA, Bart Hampton (Deborah) of Ottsville, PA and Tammy Sassaman (Timothy) of Holland Township, NJ; his brother Jimmy Day; and his grandchildren, Kelly Hill, Brittany Hampton, Bret Hampton, Jr., TJ Sassaman, Tyler Sassaman, Alexa Hone and Matt Hone. He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren.
