He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Sanford; his children, George R. Sanford and Erin L. Terrebush (Gary); his grandchild Hailey; and his sisters, Marcella, Mary Baglin, Virginia Keech (Carol) and Edith Sproles (Toby). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
