He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Blake and Eleanor F. Smith, II (Pippy); his son Christopher Matthew Smith; and his brother George Smith. He is survived by: his wife Roganne Smith (Goodwin); his sons, Geoffrey Smith (Maria) of Manassas, VA and Bradford Smith (Arabez) of Ithaca, NY; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Tilden, Wesley, Blake and Eva.
