She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Freytes and Lydia Ojeda; her siblings, William, Aurea Lydia and Oscarin; her husband Emilio Brito; and her daughters, Nidia "Mari" Brito and Brenda Roman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Juanin, Luis, Catin, Olga and Freddie; her granddaughter Jenaya; her daughters, Marta Rodriguez, Elva Ghalam (Darryl) and Jenaya Lugo (Luis); her grandchildren, Shawnte Bennett, Natasha Berwick, Justin Tillman, Joshua Virella, Miguel Rodriguez, Skylar Roman, Justin Roman, Nicholas Ghalam, Thalia Ghalam, Kaitlyn Rodriguez, Devin Roman and Emilie Ghalam; and also Aurea Lydia. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
