He was predeceased by: his sister Jan Degenaars (Dick). He is survived by: his wife Tricia Damsma; his sons, Christopher Damsma (Amy Ethridge) and Tyler Damsma; his siblings, John Damsma, Bob (Evelyn Damsma), Pat McGlade (John), Peggy Hinmon (Lee) and Lou Ann Damsma; and his brother-in-law Aart Hilberts (Paola). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
