With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph L. Giunta of Midland Park, New Jersey, born in Teaneck, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Giunta and Michelina Polizzi Giunta; his brothers, Luigi Giunta and John Giunta; his parents-in-law, James Wachter and Eugenia Buckley Wachter; and his brother-in-law Thomas Conaty.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Marie Wachter Giunta of Wilmington, Delaware.; his children, Michele Jean Collett (Gregory Collett), Gregory Giunta and Christine Giunta Stecker (Todd Stecker); his grandchildren, Cole, Owen, Noah, Francesca and Victoria; his nieces, Mary Malecki and Grace Sandri; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Giunta, Geri Bilinski, James Wachter, Joseph Wachter, Bill Conaty and Gerry Conaty.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth RC Church (700 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481).
