He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eleanor; his children, Richard (Karen) of Hillsdale, James (Tara) of Mahwah and Kathy (Greg) of Oakland; his grandchildren, Morgan, Natalie, Jamie Lynn, Julia, Robert and William; his brothers, Charles Bade and William Bade of Overbrook Kansas; his parents, Charles and Inez; and his sons, Seton Hall and Giants.
