It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Brooks of Midland Park, New Jersey, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 29, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter and Ruth; her in-laws, Kenneth and Helen Brooks; and her nephew Jeffery Becker.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth; her children, Patrick Brooks (Amy) and Jennifer Ragucci (Michael); her grandchildren, Andrew, Jenna, Katie and Megan; her siblings, Peter (Barbara) and Meredith Thompson (Tom); and her siblings-in-law, Steven, Monique Brooks, Sue and Robert Ehlers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
