He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Mae and Ernest Donovan; and his siblings, Richard Donovan (Laura), Joan Howlett (George) and Carol Mayo (Butch).
He is survived by: his wife Maryann Donovan; his sons, Robert (Jill) and Michael (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Ryan (Bianca), Sydney (Niko) and Mitchell (Lily); his great grandchildren, Connor, Riley and Elias; and his sister Kathy Markovich (Joe). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home (115 Tindall Rd, Middletown Township, NJ 07748). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Mother of God Church (19 Cherry Tree Farm Rd, Middletown Township, NJ 07748). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (100 Chapel Hill Rd, Red Bank, NJ 07701).
