He was predeceased by: his wife Anna; his parents, Ralph Dato and Verian Dato; and his grandsons, John Dato and Raymond Haupt.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Intermesoli (Frank), Ralph Dato (Lori), Patty Dato-Smith (Adrian) and Kathy Myers (Daniel); his grandchildren, Sarah MacFawn (Scott), Joshua Intermesoli (Sarah), Amanda Hubler (Richard), Katie Levy (Phil), Kaitlin Quinones (Freddy), Daniel Myers and Abigail Smith; and his sisters, Verian Hagan (James) and Beverly Reber (Robert). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel (115 Tindall Rd, Middletown Township, NJ 07748). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
