She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schember and Barbara Schember; and her brother Dave Schember. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Kane Sr.; her children, Joseph Kane Jr. and Stacy Kane; her granddaughters, Emileigh and Aubrey Kane; and her siblings, Walter Schember, Barbara Mitchell, Jim Schember and Mike Schember.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home (1735 NJ-35, Middletown Township, NJ 07748). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Church of St. Catherine Laboure (110 Bray Ave, Middletown Township, NJ 07748).
