He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Diskin and Kathleen Diskin (Meara); and his sister Kathleen Christine. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Diskin (Cain); his children, Joseph Diskin (Kathryn) of Mountainside, Patricia Flesher (Carl) of Nazareth, PA, Brian Diskin of St. Petersburg, FL and Peter Diskin (Sheri-Lynn) of Melbourne, FL.; his grandchildren, Sadie, Jacob, Ryan, Matthew, Jameson and Andrew; his siblings, Daniel Diskin (Cynthia) and Eileen Ebbe (Peter); and his brother-in-law Robert Christine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Peter's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.com), Our Lady of Mount Virgin Catholic Church (olmv.net), or to a charity of your choice.

“We are sorry to hear about the passing of our all time, favorite principal, Mr. Peter Diskin. If we could replicate how to relate to students and make them feel like they are loved and protected, we would have to reproduce your beloved. He always made us laugh, even in the midst of catching us doing something wrong-Stephen and his buddies can probably describe his office completely from memory!
