He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schoenig and Theresa Schoenig (Carlucci); his siblings, Joseph, Robert Schoenig and Anna Cottingham; and his sister-in-law Karen Schoenig.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Schoenig; his sons, Victor Schoenig (Jennifer) of Freehold and Christopher Schoenig (Nancy Murnieks) of Toms River; his granddaughter Victoria; his brothers, William Schoenig of Toms River and Frank Schoenig of Manchester; and his friend John Vecchio of Manchester. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.
