Susan J. Wernersbach Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2021, Susan J. Wernersbach of Metuchen, New Jersey, born in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Stark; her husband Ray Wernersbach; and her mother Alta Stark. She is survived by: her sisters, Karen Stark Hild (Robert D. Hild) of Westfield, NJ and Alta Jane Stark (Michael Garreffi) of Westfield, MA; her nieces, April Hild Krihak (Jay) and Katherine A. Hild; her nephew R. Christopher Hild (Johanna); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah, Matthew Krihak, Charles, Lily and Ethan Hild; her aunt Suzann H. Kelly of Plains, PA; her cousin Susan M. Kelly (Alan); her stepsons, Vaughn Wernersbach (Michele) and Seth Wernersbach (Haley Lang); her grandchildren, Fiona, Maya and Tyler Wernersbach; and her aunts, Dorothy McGuire of Shavertown, PA and Florence Stark of Saratoga, CA. She is also survived by 30 cousins.
Her love of music was a mainstay in her life — whether attending the innumerable concerts or plays of her cousin, nieces and nephew or using her talents on the piano to help reach across the divide created by the pandemic to engage her aged parents when in-person visits were not possible.
Donations in Susan's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Alexandria First Presbyterian Church.
