It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Solomon Grier of Metuchen, New Jersey, born in Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jean E. Waugh Grier; his parents, Nehemiah Grier and Annie E. Conner Grier; and his siblings, Rev. Artist Grier, Bishop Nehemiah Grier, Samuel Grier, Ralph Grier, Ruby Mosley and Anniease Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Glen and Lori Grier; and his brother Jesse Grier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
