He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathryn Rossi; his grandson Justin Cooper; his sister Patricia Young; and his son-in-law Gary Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Carol Oberdick of Metuchen; his daughters, Carol Lamberti (Mike) of Metuchen, Janet Cooper of Fords, Patricia Gardner (Tony) of Edison and Susan Meikle (Herb) of East Brunswick; his grandchildren, Nate, Richard, Jennifer, Matthew, Michael, Anthony and Kathy; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Andrew and Bella; and his siblings, Neil Oberdick (June) of Manahawkin and Jessie Claire Sweeley of Baltimore, MD..
