He was predeceased by: his father Lester A. Heim Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Rama; his son Allan Heim (Meaghan); his granddaughter Alexis of Valrico, FL; his mother Mary Ellen; his siblings, Richard Heim of Dunedin, FL and Debra Martin of Metuchen; his niece Ashley Martin; and his nephews, Joseph Martin and Adrian Heim.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks loved ones to donate to a charity of their choice in Lester's name.
