She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Poandl and Dorothy Poandl; her sisters, Elizabeth Breen and Carol Trecolis; and her brother-in-law Peter Trecolis.
She is survived by: her husband Peter C. Freis; her children, Carolyn DeMaio (Christopher), Patricia Ackerson (Richard), Theresa Freis, Elizabeth Freis-Blom (Thomas), Sean Freis and Kevin Freis; her siblings, Bob Poandl, Patricia LaPointe (Jerry), Tom Poandl (Debbie), David Poandl (Pam), Edward Poandl (Diane), Tina Soliman (Yasser) and William Poandl (Mary Beth); her brother-in-law Jim Breen; and her grandchildren, Joseph (Kristina), Marc, Briana, Christa, Cara, Joshua, Kyle, Jacob and Leila. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or donations, please use your time and money to go out and play with your children and grandchildren, because that is what Kathy would want.
