He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Reid and Margaret Jamieson Reid; his wife Claire M. Reid; his brother James Reid; and his granddaughter Jacki Crowley.
He is survived by: his children, J. Scott Reid of Westford, MA, Robert J. Reid of Damascus, MD and Susan M. Reid of Raritan, NJ; his brother Gavin A. Reid of Hanover, NH; and his grandchildren, Alexandra Reid, Laurel Reid, Dillon Reid, Brody Reid, Connor Reid, Staci Crowley, Kelli Crowley and Alexis Fasoli.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Haven Hospice in Edison.
