We bid farewell to Jean D. Mahan of Metuchen, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Drake and Bernice Drake; and her husband Kenneth L. Mahan. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Karecki, Judith Eustis-Sherman and Jack Sherman; and her grandson Michael Eustis.
The family kindly asks loved ones to make donations to the American Red Cross in Jean's name.
