He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip and Angeline; his sister Mary Messina; and his sister-in-law Lorraine V. Bezy. He is survived by: his son Ben Messina; his wife Teresa; his son Gino Messina (Anita) of Louisville, KY; his stepdaughter Sylvia Stachowicz of Metuchen; his grandchildren, Cherisse Messina, Ariel DiPalma, Niko Messina and Antonio Messina; his brothers, Joseph (Donna) of Johnstown, PA, David (Barbara) of Pittsburgh, PA, Christopher (Joan) of Raleigh, NC, Michael of Johnstown, PA and Ronnie (Dina) of Virginia; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Erdely, John Messina, Rick Messina, Angela Messina, Candice Messina Brett, Christopher Messina Jr., Matthew Messina and Jonathan Messina. He is also survived by great- grandchildren.
