It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Joseph Trapp of Metuchen, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his parents, Regina Trapp and Eugene Trapp; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his significant other Kathleen Darnowski; his daughters, Alison Ukpabi (Chizoba) of Hercules and Kaitlin Bray (Michael) of Edison; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Sammy Mertz of Hercules, Ava Trapp, Amelia Bray and George Bray of Edison; and his siblings, Claire Kwiatkowski (Gordon) of Lodi, Marilyn Rogalski (Bernard) of Byram, N. J., Marjorie Seligmuller (Ronald) of Elmwood Park, N. J., Richard Trapp (Carol) of Parsippany, N. J., Thomas Trapp (Michelle) of Cedar Hill, TN., James Trapp (Linda) of Saddle Brook, N. J. and Donald Trapp of Clarksville, TN..

He also served as a Director of the New York Life Foundation.
