She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Cleveland Smith and Hulda Smith Knouse (McAfee); her husband John M. Kitson, Sr.; her son Richard F. Kitson; and her daughter-in-law Melody A. Kitson.
She is survived by: her son John M. Kitson, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Deveda of Parkersburg, WV; her daughter Becky E. Webb; her son-in-law David of Brick, NJ; her daughter Jeanne E. Macciocca; her son-in-law Donald, Sr.; her sister-in-law Ann Kitson; her cousin David Harter; and her grandchildren, Scott, Todd, Kelly, Stacy, Don Jr., Dawn, John III and Raymond. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army or St. Jude's Research Hospital.
