She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Beideman Powell and Daniel Webster Lingle; her husband John H. Elton, Sr.; and her son John H Elton, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Ann Kozlek; her daughter-in-law Elaine Elton; her grandchildren, Tanya Kozlek, John H. Elton III, Michael Elton, Nanette Plummer, Antoinette Snyder and Suzette DeMarchi; her pet Eloise; her sister Jane; her close friends, Cameron "Miss Pinky" Young, Charlene Ottaviano, Helena Hubbard and Dennis Merrigin; and also Barbara.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 166 Caranza Road, Tabernacle, NJ 08088.
