He is survived by: his wife Antonia Roman; his children, Ruben Colon, Luz Martinez, Midgalia Vega, Nelson Colon, Sandra Colon, Anibal Colon, Maria Elena Colon, Luis Alfredo Colon, Marisol Colon, Elizabeth Colon and Nancy Colon; and his siblings, Luis, Chinchito, Alfredo, Felix Colon, Costancia Valentin and Moncho. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
