He was predeceased by: his siblings, Delores Jean Banning, Burton and Richard Banning. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brian D., Jr. (Brittany), Melanie, Nathan Hanger, Cole Riley, Morgan Williams (Rachel), Brooke and Elizabeth Schmidt; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Harper Banning, Zackery, Rylee Hanger, Brantley Riley, Hunter, Adamson, Zoie Williams and Kelston Hunter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
