He was predeceased by: his parents, Parker S. Schivley and Ethel E. Schivley (Stout); his daughter Patricia Lynn Steen (Schivley); his grandchildren, Brenton and Sharla Schivley; and his great grandchildren, Camilo and Nicholas.
He is survived by: his wife Florence E. Schivley (Walker); his sister Nancy Sobkowiak (Larry) of Apple Valley, MN; his son Charles P Schivley, Jr. (Caryl) of Agawam, MA; his grandchildren, Steven (Kelly), Tami, Rachael, Bethany and Shelley (Christopher); and his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Hudson, Elijah, William, Kaylynn, Elliott, Camila, Sharlet and Delano. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
