She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Cillo and Philomena Cillo; her husband Jack P. Smith; her grandson Richard Smith Jr.; and her siblings, Aniello, Anthony Cillo, Marie Pennimpede and Ann Fondaco.
She is survived by: her friend Jack Smith; her children, John (Grace Smith), Ida (David Porfirio), Thomas, Brigitte Smith (Bowie, MD), Richard Smith of Mendham, NJ, Teresa Hattersley of Mendham, NJ, Stephanie (Chris Montgomery) and William Smith of Tinton Falls, NJ; and her siblings, Peter, Joseph, James Cillo and Rose Grievo. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
