He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Martin and Olive Cleary; his former wife Fran Cleary; his wife Marianne Ezyske; his children, Kevin Cleary (Trish) of Naples, FL and Kathleen Salerno (Michael) of Mendham, NJ; his grandchildren, Dan, Maegan Cleary, Michael and Mariah Salerno; his great grandchild Mayzie; his brother Ed Cleary (Gail) of Lake Norman, NC; his stepdaughters, Casey Ezyske of Morristown, NJ and Kelly Roman (Michael); and his stepgrandchildren, Theo and Grace of Long Valley, NJ..
He was a humanitarian and philanthropist, supporting his community through donations to the Mendham First Aid Squad, Fire and Police Departments, and Mendham Area Senior Housing, as well as to neighboring Centenary University.
