She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Maples and Erma Jean Maples; her brother James Maples; and her son Gary Brown. She is survived by: her husband Elmo C. Brown; her children, Keith Brown (Lei Masson) and Sharon Palmer (Scott Palmer); her daughter-in-law Christine Brown; her grandchildren, Abigail Stokes (Andrew R. McHugh), Marni Benefield (Andrew Benefield), Hannah Stokes (Kahlil Traylor) and Cooper Brown; and her great grandchildren, Finn McHugh and Rayla Benefield.
