He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Norcott D'Esterre and Anna Lida D'Esterre; his wife Judith M. of Medford Lakes, NJ; his children, Guy, Grace D'Esterre, Valerie, Jay Bertsch, Dawn and Ted Balling; and his stepchildren, Beth, Arnie Gervasio, Matthew, Alice Keane, Ryan, Jennifer Keane, Megan and Ed Kent. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
