With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hector Ruiz Sr. of Maywood, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elisa "Lily" Ruiz; his children, Beatrice Gonzalez (Alejandro), Pedro Ruiz and Hector M. Ruiz; his grandchildren, Edwin D. Medina, Alicia N. Ruiz, Alexandria Gonzalez, Emilio Ruiz and Penelope Gonzalez; and his siblings, Tomas Gonzalez, Jorge Ruiz, Jenny Figueroa, Elizabeth Beltran, Aida Ruiz, Ramiro Ruiz and Rosalina Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Di Chiara Funeral Home (300 Main St, Lodi, NJ 07644). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sts. Cyril and Methodius R. C. Church (225 Ackerman Ave, Clifton, NJ 07011). A committal service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (52 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512).
