With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Koehler (Maywood, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 1, 2019 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Virginia Hauptly; his stepson Wayne Melnik; his brother Frederick Koehler; and his wife Madeline Huggard. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Koehler, Jinny Koehler, Larainne Koehler (Vincent Grieco) and Kenneth Koehler (Cheryl); his grandsons, Michael Hauptly-Pierce (Charlene), Christopher Grieco and Stephen Koehler (Lauren); his great grandchild Matthew Koehler; his stepdaughters, LuAnn Anacker-Novak (Paul) and Nancy Loux (Wayne); his stepdaughter-in-law DeeDee Melnik; his stepgrandchildren, Juliet Melnik, Mark Anacker (Suzy), Gregg Anacker (Laura), Scott Anacker (Lorraine), Wayne Loux (Jessica) and Kristin Nestlerode (Zane); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Addison, Avery, Emily, Braydon, Sawyer, Brylee and Colton.
