In loving memory of Sylvia T. Mahana of Mays Landing, New Jersey, who departed this world on February 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Sylvia leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Maxfield and Esther Maxfield; her brother Dwight Maxfield; her niece Rhonda Dickson; her sister H. Eugenia "Genie" Langston; and her brothers-in-law, John "Jack" Langston and John Mahana (Fred Mahana Jr.).
She is survived by: her son Andrew (Alyson); her nieces and nephews, Richard Langston (Nilda), Michael Langston (Tricia), David Langston, Dwight Daniels (Sandy), John Mahana (Tammy), Matthew Mahana, Michael Mahana, Sonya Daniels and April Mahana; her sister-in-law Patricia Mahana; and her caregiver Shawnee. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
