He was predeceased by: his parents, Elinor Shincarick (Dunham) and Stephen Shincarick. He is survived by: his wife Joan Shincarick; his children, Josh Shincarick (Kelly), Maureen Oakley (Zac), Megan DeJonge (Zachary) and Stephen G. Shincarick; his pet Masey; his stepdaughters, Loraine Griffiths (John), Laura Maxwell (James) and Amber Mills; and his grandchildren, Rylee, Jax, Stella, Alexa, Millie, Ava, Lily and Keira.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Jimmy V Foundation to support cancer research.
