She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Banta and Fred Banta; her significant other Vincent Montalvo; her siblings, Susan Banta, Thomas Banta and Fred Banta; and her nephew Joshua Banta.

She is survived by: her sons, Vincent Montalvo II and Greg Montalvo (Shannon); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Montalvo, Brooke Montalvo (Barbara), Jaydon Montalvo (Stacey) and Alyssa Pofi (Charlene); and her brothers, Kevin Banta (Anita) and Michael Banta (Marina). She is also survived by sisters in law, brothers in law, and many adoring nieces and nephews.
