Gary R. Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2023, at the age of 76, Gary R. Smith of Mays Landing, New Jersey, born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Charles Smith; and his parents, Rita Catherine LaPlanche and Paul I. LaPlanche. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith; his son David Smith (Christine); his stepchildren, Danielle Pagan (Ray), Jolene Massey and Ronald Massey (Felicia); his grandchildren, Daniel Smith, Andrew Smith, Rayelle Pagan, Isabella Pagan, Alexander Pagan, Sophie Delgado, Arianna Massey, Juliana Massey and Jackson Massey; and his siblings, Rita Keen, Patricia Priesinger, Jene Fryer, Sharon Reignier, Dorothea Smith and Michael Smith. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, as well as many other family members and close friends.

During his tenure, he made a valuable contribution to the safety and security of his community.
