He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard T. House and T. Pearl House of Webster Springs; and his siblings, Betty Jean House, Otis Charles House and E. Paul House.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Theresa Oliver; his wife Nancy House (Napolitano); his sons, James House (Tracey House) and Christopher House (Ashley House); his grandchildren, Toire House, Ellie Jean House and Teagan House; and his siblings, Arnold House (late Judith House) and Ella Dean Ellis (Kenneth Ellis). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
