He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Compton and Frances Lewis Compton; and his siblings, Gordon and Carol. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Marge" Martishek; his children, Daniel D. Compton and Holly Compton; his half-brother Rod Secor; his sister Jill Curlif; and his grandchildren, Daniel C., Timothy and Phoenix.
