He is survived by: his wife Marchita Bowens-Ekekeugbor; his sons, Kelvin O. Ekekeugbor (Vyonne) and Chimaechi D. Ekekeugbor; his grandchildren, Mylo and Myka Ekekeugbor; his sister Joy Nwakama; and his niece Debbi Deji.
