He was predeceased by: his spouse Elizabeth; and his sibling Cora Lawton. He is survived by: his children, Joy Anne McBride (William) and Daniel Vreeland; his stepchild Stanley "Jimmy" Wise (Gretchen); and his siblings, Henry "Butch" Vreeland, Millie Lowe and Gene Vreeland. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
