He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Hickey and Alice Hickey (Van Pelt); his son Thomas Hickey; his wife Virginia M. "Ginny" Mauser Hickey; his daughter Cheryl Dyar (Elmon); his daughter-in-law Kathleen Hickey of Toms River; his grandchildren, Anna Polozzo, Crystal Hickey-Hansen, Michelle Quirk-Alter and Shannon Quirk-Agard; and his stepgrandchildren, Elmon III, Pauline, Jami, Nicholas and Jessica. He was also cherished by 11 great-grandchildren.
