He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline J. Mohler Wright and Joseph R. Griffith; his brothers, Theodore Griffith, Robert and David Wright; and his nephew Edward Wright.

He is survived by: his brothers, Edward and Paul Wright; his granddaughter Lori Wright; and also Kristin (Shawn Carlisle). He is also survived by her 8 children and Gail Wright and her 5 children.
