He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Nelan and Marion Nelan; and his sister Maura Parker. He is survived by: his wife Susan Nelan of Matawan; his children, Joseph Nelan of Matawan, Crystal Barton of Toms River and Jackie; his son-in-law Jeremy Rodgers of East Brunswick; his siblings, Neil Nelan of Connecticut, Michael Nelan of Hazlet, Joseph Nelan of Keansburg, Danny Nelan of Pennsylvania, Patricia Manjorin of Pennsylvania, Cathy Neal of Texas and Chrissy Davino of West Keansburg; and his grandchildren, Lily, Lori, Jackie and Cash. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
