She was predeceased by: her parent Rufus Walling; and her spouse Robert Phelan Sr.. She is survived by: her parent Meta Throckmorton; her children, Robert Phelan Jr., Lee, Colleen Phelan (Jeffrey Burkel), Cathy Hrehowesik (Douglas) and Candace Neely (Thomas); her grandsons, Sean, Zachary and Ryan; and her friend Helen Sweeney.
